A BENEFIT FOR THE JUNIOR JAZZ FOUNDATION

"Striving to Keep Music Alive in Our Schools"

The Junior Jazz Foundation (JJF) is the non-profit arm of The Jazz Corner. The JJF is under the umbrella of the prestigious Community Foundation of the Low Country, a quality organization with tremendous experience in managing the philanthropic work of individuals, families and businesses.
 
The larger mission of The Junior Jazz Foundation is to broaden the awareness of the original American art form of jazz within our local schools. Our approach to accomplishing this is to utilize The Junior Jazz Foundation to seek donations of goods and services to assist in raising funds for new equipment, instruments, scholarships, classes and seminars for interested and promising young students.
 
The 2009 JJF Golf Tournament, in collaboration with Palmetto Hall Golf Club,will achieve these goals for the local schools on Hilton Head Island with the following:
 
COUNTY-WIDE USED INSTRUMENT DRIVE
The JJF will refurbish the instruments and distribute them among the schools.
 
HOLE SPONSORSHIP
These funds collected from sponsors will go directly to the schools.
 
GOLF GAMES AND RAFFLES
During the tournament, we will raise further funds with "hole in one,""longest drive," and "closest to the pin" games as well as raffle tickets for mulligans.
 
AWESOME PRIZES
The Jazz Corner is famed for its prize list that includes well over 50 itemssuch as restaurant certificates, golf lessons, spa certificates, jewelry, wine, CD's, shirts, and much more!
 
The Junior Jazz Foundation takes great pride in presenting the tournament at the esteemed Palmetto Hall Club Saturday, November 21, 2009.

Following the tournament, join us at The Jazz Corner for the awards ceremony, raffles, and a performance by the Hilton Head High School Jazz Band.
 
With your help, we look forward to raising the necessary funds to assist our schools  in furthering their music programs.
